Rotation at maximum speed

Innovative metal replacement with high-precision plastic parts made of PBT/ASA

When desig­ning a new rotating viewing window for deman­ding appli­ca­tions in mecha­nical enginee­ring, an intel­li­gent choice of materials and tool design was required. A tool concept with a tunnel connec­tion and symme­trical sprue distri­butor as well as sophisti­cated tempe­ra­ture control was designed and imple­mented.

The highlight at the EUROplast exhibi­tion stand was the ultra­sonic welding machine with which we welded a dolphin made of biopo­ly­mers in coope­ra­tion with Herrmann Ultra­schall and the company Tecnaro and distri­buted it to the trade fair visitors.

Until shortly before the start of the trade fair, it was unclear whether Fakuma could take place due to the Corona infec­tion situa­tion. We were pleased that the decision was made to host it.
