We have started FAKUMA 2024 with new brochures — as usual with the tried and tested infor­ma­tion for practi­tio­ners (also available here on our website).

The current economic situa­tion in Europe and Germany was certainly noticeable, so we were all the more pleased that many of our long-standing custo­mers still made the trip to Fried­richs­hafen. And it was worth it, there was again a lot to see and experi­ence at this year’s FAKUMA.

For us, too, it is always exciting to learn about new techno­lo­gies and possi­bi­li­ties, especi­ally in the direc­tion of incre­asing effici­ency.

At the trade fair stand, we took another step towards sustaina­bi­lity and, with the active support of Nowaste and their treecups, served drinks from biode­gra­dable reusable cups. A joint project between Nowaste, Tecnaro, Saur Werkzeugbau and EP Kunst­stoff­technik GmbH.

And last but not least, this year instead of dolphins made of biopla­stic, there was a trade fair dog at our stand!

FAKUMA 2023
The highlight at the EUROplast exhibi­tion stand was the ultra­sonic welding machine with which we welded a dolphin made of biopo­ly­mers in coope­ra­tion with Herrmann Ultra­schall and the company Tecnaro and distri­buted it to the trade fair visitors.

Until shortly before the start of the trade fair, it was unclear whether Fakuma could take place due to the Corona infec­tion situa­tion. We were pleased that the decision was made to host it.

Our third Innova­tion and Techno­logy Day was once again a complete success. In addition to specia­list lectures from top-class lectu­rers on the subject of innova­tions in the plastics sector, the program also included enter­tain­ment.
